My story

Sports path

Sports have always been at the center of my life. I didn't start with running — first came chess (yes, it's a sport!), then table tennis, and later endurance disciplines like cross-country skiing. With a competitive mindset, I've always pushed myself in every sport, reaching national level or close to it. Eventually, I discovered my true passion in running. My first running race was a marathon in 2014 — done without special preparation (such a mistake it was) — and I finished in 3:14. Since then, I've completed an Ironman distance just for fun and countless running races. Running has been my main sport for more than ten years, and I genuinely love it with all my heart.

University

I spent half of my life at the largest and most renowned sports university in Russia (ГЦОЛИФК). I earned my bachelor’s degree in Coaching (Athletic Training), my master’s in Physical Education, and later a postgraduate degree in Pedagogy (Physical Education and Sports). During my studies, I worked in research labs, exploring coordination and agility and their impact on technique and efficiency in sports. My research became the basis of my Ph.D. thesis, which I defended in 2022. Afterward, I continued at the university as a lecturer, teaching future coaches

Marathon coaching

I began my coaching journey more than ten years ago, starting small and steadily building experience. At first, I worked in fitness clubs with complete beginners,. Later, I joined an endurance sports club, where I coached athletes aiming for higher performance. In 2022, I moved to Dubai and spent three years coaching in the city’s largest endurance school. During that time, we built a strong running community, and I helped many athletes achieve their personal bests and complete marathons. In 2025, I founded my own running team — Team 42 — bringing professional coaching for amateur runners

Scientific approach

Training decisions are grounded in exercise physiology and field evidence — VO₂max, thresholds, cadence efficiency, and heat adaptation. We test, measure and iterate instead of guessing.

Data‑driven training

We use the right data at the right time: pace/HR for intensity control, session RPE for load balance, and trend lines to track readiness. Data informs your plan — it never overwhelms it.

Precise planning

Clear periodization with meso and micro cycles, targeted workouts and sensible progressions. Every session has a purpose; recovery is built in so improvements accumulate, not cancel out.

Health orientation

Performance grows when health is protected. We minimize injury risk with correct intensities, technique cues and strength support — adapting to your schedule, sleep and stress.

How are plans delivered?

We connect your watch or app to TrainingPeaks. I schedule all workouts there, monitor your results in detail, and provide personalized feedback. You can also send me videos from your sessions for technique analysis and corrections.

Do you provide strength training?

Yes, strength training is an essential part of your plan. I include detailed workouts and, if you're new to it, we can train together so I can guide you and make sure the exercises are safe and effective.
